To assist the County and the City in
understanding how other governments have dealt with the
prospects of hosting radioactive waste management facilities,
County and City representatives have toured other nuclear
facilities and met with host area representatives. The
impressions of one such trip, involving tours of European
nuclear waste sites and communities, were recorded by the
Joint City/County Impact Alleviation Committee.
